The GrowNext Agritourism Contest 2026 is a flagship agribusiness initiative by Voazok Limited designed to identify, train, and support young agripreneurs building innovative agritourism ventures across Ghana.
Through immersive learning, mentorship, and global exposure opportunities, GrowNext equips the next generation of agricultural leaders with the skills, networks, and practical experience needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving agribusiness landscape.

Participants gain hands-on learning through curated tours, technical sessions, and industry mentorship while developing real enterprise solutions that drive youth employment and rural transformation.

Selection
Young innovators submit agritourism concepts focused on youth empowerment and rural development. The top 10 applicants are selected through a merit-based evaluation process.
Training & Exposure
Selected participants attend a fully sponsored three-day immersive workshop featuring agritourism business design, simulation exercises, and industry mentorship. Top finalists are chosen at the end of this stage.
Implementation & Scaling
Finalists receive structured mentorship, business development support, and guidance on accessing opportunities to scale their agritourism ventures.

How the Program Works & Who Should Apply
Young farmers and aspiring agripreneurs, agricultural students and early-career professionals, youth-led agribusiness innovators, and individuals exploring agritourism as a business pathway.
No registered business is required — strong ideas and commitment matter most.
Eligibility & Requirements
Applicants must:
Submit an original agritourism concept or business idea
Demonstrate innovation, feasibility, and sustainability
The applicant must be currently residing in an African country
Show clear impact on youth development and rural communities
Pay a non-refundable GHS 350 registration fee
The GrowNext Workshop Experience (3 Days)
Day 1 – Skills & Simulation Launch
Participants explore agritourism business models, strategies, and enterprise planning through a farm enterprise simulation platform.
Day 2 – Competition & Evaluation
Participants present their agritourism ideas, compete in simulation exercises, and receive performance evaluation from industry experts.
Day 3 – Local Agri-Study Tour
Hands-on exposure through visits to commercial farms and food processing centres.
Awards & Opportunities
The highest-performing participants will experience an international agritourism learning journey in South Africa, exploring real-world agritech integration, value-chain innovation, and sustainable tourism models.

Program Timeline,Judging & Evaluation
Applications and workshop performance will be assessed by an independent judging panel using clearly defined evaluation criteria. The panel will consider the level of innovation and originality demonstrated, the feasibility and scalability of each concept, the potential impact on youth empowerment and rural development, as well as the overall sustainability and clarity of execution. All evaluations will be conducted objectively, and the decisions of the judges will be final.
