Ag Study Tour in Canada
8 Days Agricultural Study Tour - Program Fees | $1,965 (GHC25,545)
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Intensive Training: During the two days of the program, students will receive intensive theoretical training on agriculture. The training will cover topics such as crop technology, livestock management, agricultural sustainability, animal health technology, agribusiness marketing, value chain processes, agribusiness entrepreneurship and finance, agriculture technology, agricultural technology and commercial agricultural production. The training will be conducted by experienced practitioners and academics in the respective fields.
Practical Sessions: Students will embark on a 5-day visits to commercial farms and agritourism destinations to observe and have hands-on practical experiences.
Program fees includes: Shared accommodation/dormitory, tour fees, transportation within Canada, all meals (breakfast, unlimited snacks, lunch and dinner), visa fees and travel insurance.
Program fees does not include: Registration fees and insurance of $200 (GHC2,600) and flight tickets are extra cost, which can be arranged through Voazok Tours.
Weekends will be set aside for fun activities such as team-building exercises, sports, cultural events, and sightseeing.
- Overall, this program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the different fields of agribusiness, modern agricultural technologies, and the skills and qualities required to become successful agribusiness entrepreneurs.
5 Days Field Trip
Five days of hands-on experience which includes tours and field visits.
- Field trip to observe and participate in the day-to-day operations of some agribusinesses. This is designed to enable participants to have hands-on experience in real-life scenarios.
- Tours to various agri-businesses and tourism attractions related to animal production, including those related to beef, dairy, equine, and livestock. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with various stakeholders and learn about the application of technology in different aspects of animal production.
- Tours to various crop farms and agribusinesses, including those related to crop production, agro-processing, and sustainable agriculture. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with various stakeholders and learn about the application of technology in different aspects of crop production.
Ag Study Tours Program Requirement
The minimum number of students for this tour is 10.

- Deposit upon booking: US$500 (GhC6,500) plus $200 (GHC2,600 – registration and insurance)
to secure a place upon registration. - Remaining Balance: Due 8 weeks to the tour start date (invoice will be sent to participants)
- Flight is extra costs for students, which can be arranged through Voazok Tours. Estimate for flights: $1,250-$1,600 (GHC16,250 – GHC22,100).
- Refund Policy: Registration fees of $125 and insurance of $75 are non-refundable to cover administrative expenses (in case of visa refusal). Visa fees are included in the program fees and the amount is non-refundable. For more information, please refer to Voazok Tours Terms and Conditions.
