OVERVIEW
7 Days, 2024 | All-Inclusive: $2,999 (GhC38,987)
Israel stands as a testament to agricultural ingenuity, housing two distinct forms of agricultural communities—the Kibbutz and Moshav. This unique backdrop is all the more astonishing considering the nation’s challenging environment characterized by scarce water resources and rugged topography, with weather conditions that often pose difficulties. Strikingly, despite having only 20% of its land deemed arable, Israel remarkably produces nearly 95% of its own food requirements. Notably, Israel’s reputation for innovation is exemplified by its pioneering of drip irrigation systems, a technology that continues to flourish as the country leads in the cultivation of tropical fruits and greenhouse vegetables.
Delving deeper into Israel’s agricultural tapestry, you’ll discover the flourishing domains of honey and date production, thriving cattle and dairy farming, the art of olive oil cultivation, and the innovative world of aquaculture. While immersing yourself in this agricultural richness, your journey wouldn’t be complete without exploring the historical gems that define Israel. From the timeless allure of Jerusalem to the tranquility of the Sea of Galilee and the otherworldly wonder of the Dead Sea—the lowest point on Earth—each step is an encounter with history, culture, and nature entwined.
